Expresses the gratitude of the House of Representatives for the contributions that U.S. air traffic controllers make to keep the traveling public safe and U.S. airspace running efficiently.

Commends them for the calm and professional manner in which they handle air traffic throughout the year.

Acknowledges their heroic actions, dedication, and quick and skilled decisionmaking to help avert many accidents and tragedies.

Encourages greater investment in the modernization of the air traffic control system so that they have the resources and technology to better carry out their mission.
