Firearm Recidivist Sentencing Act of 2009 - Amends the federal criminal code to provide that individuals are subject to the 25-year mandatory minimum prison term for carrying or using a firearm while committing a violent crime or drug trafficking offense only if they have been previously convicted of such offense and such conviction has become final.
