Child Protection Reauthorization Act of 2009 - Amends the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006 to extend through FY2012 funding under such Act for: (1) the Sex Offender Management Assistance (SOMA) program; (2) federal assistance to states for enforcing sex offender registration requirements; (3) pilot programs for monitoring sex offenders; (4) grants to combat sexual abuse of children; (5) the Jessica Lunsford address verification grant program; and (6) the program for safe surrender of fugitives.
Amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to extend through FY2012 funding for: (1) sex offender apprehension grants; and (2) juvenile sex offender treatment grants.
Referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security.
