(This measure has not been amended since it was passed by the House on November 16, 2005. The summary of that version is repeated here.)
Authorizes the Government of Ukraine to establish a memorial on federal land in the District of Columbia to honor the victims of the Ukrainian famine-genocide of 1932-1933.
States that the establishment of the memorial shall be in accordance with the Commemorative Works Act and exempts such memorial from certain requirements concerning design, funding, and location.
Prohibits the U.S. government from paying any expense for the establishment of the memorial or its maintenance.
