Great Ape Conservation Reauthorization Act of 2005 - Amends the Great Ape Conservation Act to: (1) authorize the Secretary of the Interior to use amounts in the Great Ape Conservation Fund to provide emergency financial and technical assistance for great ape conservation needs in Aceh Province, Indonesia, arising from the tsunami of December 2004; (2) authorize the Secretary to approve projects to address the root causes of threats to great apes in range states; (3) require the Secretary to convene the panel of experts created under the Great Ape Conservation Act not later than 120 days after the enactment of this Act and quadrennially thereafter; (4) increase funding for administrative expenses; and (5) extend through FY2010 the authorization for appropriations to the Great Ape Conservation Fund.
