American Field Service Recognition Act of 2001 - Considers as active duty, for purposes of veterans' benefits eligibility, service performed before August 15, 1945, by enlisted members of the American Field Service ambulance corps who reported for overseas duty during World War II and were honorably discharged. Authorizes the award of a campaign or service medal for such service.
