Coastal Barrier Resources Reauthorization Act of 2000 - Amends the Coastal Barrier Resources Act to provide guidelines for the Secretary of the Interior in making any recommendation to Congress regarding the addition of an area to the John H. Chafee Coastal Barrier Resources System or in determining whether, at the time of inclusion within the System, a coastal barrier is undeveloped.
(Sec. 3) Allows the Secretary to add a parcel of real property to the System if the parcel's owner so requests and the parcel is an undeveloped coastal barrier.
(Sec. 5) Authorizes appropriations.
(Sec. 6) Mandates a System digital mapping pilot project and report to specified congressional committees on the feasibility and cost of creating digital versions of System maps. Authorizes appropriations.
(Sec. 7) Requires a report to specified congressional committees containing an economic assessment of the System.
