Plain-English summary
Amends the Federal criminal code to prohibit any person: (1) convicted in any court of a drug crime from possessing a firearm for five years after committing such a crime or violating any Federal or State law relating to firearms; (2) during such period, from knowingly transferring a firearm to any individual who has been convicted in any court of a drug crime; or (3) from knowingly transferring a firearm to any individual under indictment for a drug crime.
Provides enhanced penalties for possession of a firearm during and in relation to the commission of a drug crime.
