Consumer Product Safety Commission Reorganization Act of 1987
Consumer Product Safety Commission Reorganization Act of 1987 - Establishes the Consumer Product Safety Agency as an independent Federal agency. States that the Agency shall be administered by the Administrator of the Consumer Product Safety Agency, who shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
Transfers the functions, appropriations, and personnel of the Consumer Product Safety Commission to the Agency. Grants the Director of the Office of Management and Budget authority to make incidental transfers of personnel and funds to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Grants the Administrator certain administrative powers necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Terminates the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Authorizes appropriations.
