Social Security and Medicare Protection and Integrity Act of 1987 - Amends part A (General Provisions) of title XI of the Social Security Act to prohibit the use of the words "Social Security," "Medicare," or other words, letters, symbols, or emblems, in carrying on or advertising a business, product, or service, in a manner which is reasonably calculated to convey a false impression of connection with, or authorization from, the Social Security Administration or the Health Care Financing Administration.

Provides for civil penalties imposed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services and injunctions imposed by a U.S. district court.
