Provides that, upon retirement from service as the Librarian of Congress, Daniel J. Boorstin may be known as the Librarian of Congress Emeritus. States that such honorary designation shall not constitute an appointment in the civil service under specified Federal law.

Provides that as Librarian of Congress Emeritus, Dr. Boorstin may receive incidental administrative and clerical support through the Library of Congress.
